Anne’s Family / Odyssey. Please read these Subscription Terms carefully before purchasing. By subscribing, you agree to these terms.

Subscription Plans

Anne’s Family (the “Publisher”) offers Quarterly (3-month) and Annual (12-month) purchases of Odyssey, a print publication mailed monthly (“Subscriptions”). Subscriptions are for individual use or may be ordered as gifts (“Gift Subscriptions”). You (the “Subscriber”) may purchase one or multiple Subscriptions in a single order. All Subscriptions managed by a single Subscriber must be for the same term length (Quarterly or Annual). Additional free services, including free specialty mailings, may be offered to Subscribers with active Gift Subscriptions. If offered, these are considered bonuses, not inclusions, and are subject to change or end without notice.

Billing and Shipping

At the time of purchase, you will be charged for your initial Subscription term (3 or 12 issues). Your first issue will arrive in about 2 to 5 weeks, depending on your order date. Publications are finalized on the 15th of each month and delivered at the end of the same month or beginning of the next. Any new orders or address/recipient updates received after an edition has been finalized will apply to the following edition. Delivery times vary by location. We are not responsible for delays caused by the U.S. Postal Service, lost mail, or incorrect addresses. If you have not received your publication within 7 weeks of your order or any publication does not arrive within 45 days of the last, contact us so that we may investigate the delay.

Subscription Renewal

All Odyssey Subscriptions are auto-renewing. This means you will be automatically charged for subsequent terms (“Renewals”) at the end of each term, unless you cancel. The Subscription price at the time of Renewal will be charged. We reserve the right, with notice, to adjust prices if necessary. Price increases only apply to new orders and Renewals, never “retroactively” to completed purchases. We will send you a renewal reminder notice by email approximately 30 days ahead of each automatic Renewal with your Renewal date, amount to be charged, and instructions on how to cancel or update your Subscription(s). Renewal timing is calculated from the 15th day of the purchase month or following month, whichever is soonest. For example, a Quarterly subscription purchased on April 5 renews July 15 and one purchased on April 20 renews August 15.

Easy Cancellation

You may quickly and easily cancel any or all of your subscriptions anytime through your account (see Account Access) or by calling us. Cancellation stops future renewals and prevents any further charges. You will continue to receive any issues you have already paid for unless you specifically request otherwise (see Early Termination). To avoid being charged for the next term, you must cancel before the renewal date. This date is shown in your account and can be calculated based on your purchase date (see Subscription Renewal).

Account Access

You may easily access your Subscription account anytime by logging in at odysseypublication.com or by clicking a direct access link on any Subscription receipt or Renewal Notice email. Inside your account you may add, change, or cancel Subscription(s), update your contact information, or update your payment information.

Gift Subscriptions

Gift Subscriptions are managed by the Subscriber, not the Recipient, and follow the same renewal and cancellation terms, with some exceptions (see Early Termination and Refunds). We are unable to add Subscriber information or messages to gifted publications. We do not collect Gift Recipients’ email addresses, although anyone may subscribe to our emails. Whether or not a Recipient subscribes to our emails, in keeping with our Privacy Policy we do not send emails regarding specific Subscriptions to anyone other than the Subscriber (purchaser). Additionally, we cannot share your name or account information with anyone who may inquire without your permission. If you do not wish for your gift to be anonymous, you must communicate directly with the Recipient about your purchase. We honor termination requests made by Gift Recipients (see Early Termination).

Early Termination

If you cancel a Subscription, you will still receive all the issues you purchased that are remaining in the term. If you do not want to receive these, you must call us to request Early Termination. Please allow 3 business days to complete your request. We will ensure no future editions are mailed, except any already scheduled for delivery (a mailing cannot be stopped after it is processed around the 15th of each month). Any paid editions you terminate are considered forfeited unless reassigned to a new Recipient. If your Gift Recipient contacts us to terminate mailings, we will honor their request and notify you. If you do not wish to reassign their Subscription, we will cancel it and issue you a pro-rated refund or account credit (see Refunds).

Refunds

Refunds for purchased, un-mailed (or damaged) publications are available when: (1) a Subscription is terminated by a Gift Recipient and you do not reassign it to another Recipient; (2) we do not fulfill purchased publication(s) due to our own error, oversight, failure, or delay; (3) publication(s) arrive damaged or unreadable; (4) you or your Gift Recipient can no longer receive or consume the publication; (5) Odyssey is discontinued by the Publisher. An account credit will be provided in lieu of a refund if you have at least one other active Subscription, except in the event of discontinuation. The amount of your refund or credit will be limited to the price you paid per edition multiplied by the number of un-fulfilled, damaged, or discontinued editions. For damaged or erroneously un-fulfilled orders, refunds requested more than 120 days after the publication’s issue date will not be granted. We may require information to process your refund, which may be used to improve our service. Refunds are not available except in these circumstances.

Changes to Subscriptions

You may modify your Subscription(s) anytime through your account (see Account Access). You may switch from Quarterly to Annual or Annual to Quarterly; this modification will apply to all your active Subscription(s) at renewal. For example, instead of being billed for a Quarterly Subscription at your next renewal date, you will be billed for an Annual Subscription, with your next renewal occurring 12 months thereafter. You may also update Recipients and/or mailing addresses; these changes apply immediately and will be reflected in the next issue that is processed for delivery. If you are unable to make modifications in your account or have questions, contact us for assistance.

Adding Subscriptions

You may add new Subscriptions anytime through your account. You will be billed for the initial term at the time you make the purchase, and then 3 (or 12) months from the 15th of day of the same month or following month, just like your initial order. This may result in separate renewal and billing dates for different subscription(s).

Intellectual Property and Copyright

All content published by Anne’s Family, including all content in Odyssey and online at OdysseyPublication.com, is the exclusive property of Anne’s Family or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. This including articles, images, graphics, design, layout, and all other materials. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or transmit any of the Content except for personal, non-commercial and non-public use with proper attribution. You are free to (and encouraged) to share links to online Odyssey articles.

Governing Law and Compliance with Applicable Laws

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Anne’s Family complies with all applicable federal and state laws governing automatic renewal subscriptions, consumer protection, and billing practices in every state where we do business. These Terms are intended to be consistent with such laws. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and applicable law, the law will control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Anne’s Family and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Odyssey or these Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Anne’s Family regarding your subscriptions.
